Park Road Sale Primary School

While keeping the tree symbol from the old logo, there was a real need to modernise it, to reflect the a new era at the school. The 'trunk' of the tree symbolises the children, the teachers, the governors, the parents and all the other support staff who help make the school what it is. The leaves represent the four school values, and the colours reflect the
four house colours. The name of the school are the roots from where everything else grows.

I worked closely with the Headteacher, staff and children to find out what the school means to them and how they wanted it represented through their four values: 

Blue - Working Together
Red - Passion & Enthusiasm
Green - Excellence
Yellow - Caring

Once the logo had been approved, I created the design and artwork for all the different elements where the new logo was to be used. From the school uniform, the signage around the school to the headteacher's award certificates, letterheads and comp slips, as well as the website design.
